MamaNest is designed as a women-only community. The current onboarding adds multiple layers instead of relying on a single checkbox or a facial-appearance guess.
MamaNest does not use facial AI to determine someone’s gender. Eligibility is based on the women-only membership rule, account evidence and moderation.

Women-only eligibility confirmationNew members explicitly confirm that they are women and accept MamaNest’s membership and community rules.

Mandatory email verificationNew members must verify control of their signup email before the selfie step or access to MamaNest.

One current camera-only selfieAfter email verification, the app requires one fresh camera capture before entry. It is stored privately for restricted owner moderation review and is not shown to regular members.

Reports, restrictions & admin reviewAccounts that violate eligibility or safety rules can be reviewed, restricted or removed.
