Privacy Policy

Current public policy · Updated September 10, 2026

MamaNest uses information needed to create accounts, provide social features, secure the service, operate moderation and deliver features a member chooses to use.

Information MamaNest may process

Signup verification

The current MamaNest signup flow requires women-only eligibility confirmation, mandatory email verification, and then one current camera-only selfie before entry. The selfie is stored in a private verification location, is not shown to regular members, and is available only to restricted MamaNest owner moderation access. MamaNest does not use facial AI to decide a person’s gender. The verification selfie is removed when the MamaNest account is permanently deleted.

Email verification

A new member must verify control of the signup email address before continuing to the selfie step or entering MamaNest.

Why information is used

Information is used to authenticate accounts, display profiles and content, provide messaging and social features, enforce privacy choices, deliver notifications, prevent abuse, respond to reports, maintain service reliability and manage optional subscription access.

Account deletion

MamaNest provides deletion from inside the app and through the external page below. Permanent deletion is designed to remove the sign-in account and associated MamaNest account data and owned media handled by the deletion service.

Security

MamaNest uses authenticated access, database access rules and private storage for sensitive verification media. No system can guarantee absolute security, so access should be limited to what is necessary to operate the service.

Changes

This policy should be updated when MamaNest materially changes what data it collects, how verification works, or which service providers process member data.
